  70. TO CONTINUE THE ADVENTURE…
  71. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
  72. ALSO BY KENDRA

He doesn’t scream as blood bubbles from his throat, his meaty fingers trying clinging to me. When he drops to the ground with a heavy thump, I’m breathing hard at the adrenaline. There’d been no mercy from me. I don’t know this man’s name, let alone if he was a good person or not. But I’m starting to think there are no good billionaires. Being rich negates the majority’s ability to be good.

And this man, I’m willing to bet those meaty fingers have hurt someone before.

I turn, the blade dripping blood, and meet Jiro’s eyes.

There’s heat reflected there, desire. I expect there to be shock but there’s none of that, no horror, no disgust. I straighten my shoulders, prepared to apologize despite knowing it had to be done. Before I can get a word out, however, he storms across the room and slams his lips brutally to mine.

FORTY-SEVEN

I’m still holding the bloody knife. There’s a man taking his last gurgling breaths behind me. There’s a party outside the balcony doors and the main door celebrating my possible death and their murdering friends. And still, when Jiro’s lips touch mine, I don’t even question it.

It’s been a long time coming.

The two of us have danced around this desire since we were dropped on the island. Everything begs for some attention from him. I’ve imagined what this would be like at least a thousand times. Every moment he’s watched me fuck the others, it’s driven me crazy. Now, we’re here in this room with a dying man I killed with no time for anything other than getting our asses back outside and finding a yacht.

That doesn’t seem to matter to Jiro.

I drop the knife and it clatters to the ground beside me. Desperate to have him, I find myself reaching down with deft fingers and freeing his hard cock, feeling him in my hand as his own fingers twist savagely in my hair. He jerks my head back, forcing me to bare my neck to him, and when his lips move down to nip and kiss along my skin there, my knees start to buckle.

“We don’t have much time,” he says against my flesh.

“I know,” I breathe, clawing at him with one hand and stroking him with the other.

Behind us, I can hear those out on the platform below the balcony laughing and clinking glasses as if there’s not a care in the world. Jiro forces me backwards, helping me step over the body now no longer making death noises, and presses me back against the window. His long fingers cup my breast through the slip of a dress and rolls my nipple between them, bringing a mew to my lips.

“We don’t have much time,” he repeats, trailing his teeth along my collarbone.
