Chapters (72)
To Paula Armes, who gave me the kick I needed when I had given up on my dream of being published. I will forever be grateful to you. And to Josephine Bilton, who has supported me right from the start. Thank you both.
Then finally to the Teletubbies – Trish Dixon, Nathan Moss, and Heather Fitt. Every writer needs a writing support network and these guys are my Musketeers (how we arrived at Teletubbies I can’t quite remember). Thank you for being there to talk to and for making me smile every day.
I must single out Trish, as we read for each other as we write, as well as brainstorm together and work through any plot issues. This business can be lonely at times, so I count myself as very lucky to have found my writing soulmate.
As always, the places I write about are real. All except Hixton. In my head it is located close to Sudbury in Suffolk, and there are many sleepy villages like it. But this one you won’t ever find on a map.
