No time to think. I am going to call Isle of Man bastard tomorrow and invest my money as well. That is the only way to get rid of it for now. And still have some hope of getting it back later. I can’t possibly spend all of it right now in this mood and climate. I don’t have the energy or mental stamina to now worry about that cash also.
Very sleepy but also very restless. Too much happening too soon. Every time I solve one problem another one opens up. This is Voicemail Scandal all over again. Fed up.
Just to keep track I’ve entered both the LLTLF funds and my account balance into James’s spreadsheet. 100% of both invested in Bore Atlantic stock. I have nothing to lose or gain. But at least it will validate my ability to do banking. In case something goes wrong with Dufresne.
That reminds me. Need to update resume.

Sorry. Was busy all of yesterday in several Dufresne meetings. Everyone is in damage control mode right now. In case Tom goes to jail, Dufresne wants us to have an exit strategy in place. Had conference calls with all the regional partners and the banking sector teams.
Then in the evening I called up Isle of Man again and convinced the fellow to invest my money as well. He was very reluctant. He said he was paid only to do Tom’s work. I irritated him so much that he finally agreed. Everything on the exact same terms as the LLTLF cash.
This morning Dominic called a meeting. He told us that Dufresne had just agreed to fully cooperate with the Lederman investigation. We will turn over all documents, computers and data if the SEC or FSA ask for it. Later investigators will have full freedom to summon Dufresne staff for interviews. In return the SEC and FSA have informally agreed to not look too deeply into Lederman–Dufresne transactions.
Dominic asked us to prepare for any SEC/FSA request.
However at the end of the meeting he added that Dufresne would have its own investigation later. And will take action against staff members if irregularities are found. When Dominic said this he had a look of utter surrender in his face. He is preparing for the worst. I could sense it.
Should I prepare too?

Nothing happened today. No news, no meetings, no panic attacks. Life has settled down at Lederman while people wait for the investigation to proceed.
Incidentally my investments are doing very well. According to the James’s sheet Bore Atlantic is up 3% since I invested. Not bad!
Any good news is welcome right now.

Yet another day of nothingness. Sugandh is nowhere to be found. As expected.
But the investments are up another 1%. So totally 4% up so far. In just three days. I already feel like that Warren Buffet fellow.
