I told her she could send the deliveryman any time after 7 p.m. when I would be back after work. Then she told me she loved me and said that she was hoping we could somehow repair our relationship.

Tomorrow Sugandh will start applying to Dufresne. I hope the poor fellow gets a job. But then part of me also wants him dead.

11.15 p.m.

Jesus Christ.

Dominic’s work is taking forever and I had completely forgotten about the LLTLF Group B leads meeting I was supposed to organize. First thing tomorrow.

No sleep tonight.

2 April 2007

5.43 p.m.

Mad mad hectic day. Exhausted from running around and staying up late.

The salary slips came in today. Dominic is finalizing our proposal.

Meanwhile I got three missed calls from some blocked London number. I don’t know if I should pick it up. Maybe it is from Marks and Spencer or something.

Lily from HR called to confirm that she had made the necessary adjustments to the Dufresne payroll system. It will now generate the revised salary slips automatically every month for the next six months. She has already run a test with my name and account details and everything, she said, seems to be working fine. While I will still get paid the usual amount, the salary slips will show the inflated number.

Now all that is left to do is decide who these 7 consultants will be, redraw our project plans and then get Tom to sign off on the idea.

Want to sleep early today. But I need to schedule the LLTLF meeting first.

Dying of lack of sleep.

6.12 p.m.

Romantic brainwave!!!

Details tomorrow.

Adipoli aayi mone!

For the last few days, ever since that stupid mock interview, I’ve been somewhat mood out. Just not feeling excited about anything. Gouri’s gift will cheer me up a little bit, provided it is something expensive and not chocolate or a wooden love plaque or some nonsense like that.

But now I feel much better. Last night while sitting and planning the LLTLF lead meeting suddenly a thought occurred to me. Now as you know I have been meaning to spend some quality alone platonic time with Jenny Huang since the first time I saw her. I know she has laughed in my face many times over the last month or so. And she constantly keeps referring to that microphone incident.

Still I don’t think it is fair to judge someone that attractive and with such a good personality on the basis of just 4 or 5 incidents. I think it is only fair that I give her one more chance or how many ever chances are necessary.
