On my way back the underground train broke down. Apparently some passenger fell ill in some other train on the line. And then they had to shut down the line.

(Stupid. Waste of time. In Bombay if you fall ill on the train you take care of yourself. They don’t stop the train for you. If you feel sick in Bombay you wait till the next station and then die on the platform in peace. Sometimes I feel there is too much human rights in London.)

While walking back I met a man on the road who stopped and asked me if I knew who Jesus Christ is. Even though he was a small, thin, white man, and not a big, huge, black fellow, I still suddenly thought he was a mugger. I began to run when he stopped me and put a sheet of paper in my hand. And then he smiled at me and went away.

The paper was for a prayer meeting this weekend at a small church called St Trinquan’s near my apartment. Apparently it is open to people of all religions, all castes and races and creeds. And it was free to attend. After the meeting there would be free lunch. (There were no menu details.)

As each day goes by, Diary, I am convinced that I need to think about spirituality and religion again. I don’t think it is a coincidence that my stomach noise and the man with the prayer meeting poster both happened on the same day.

I am definitely going this weekend.

I feel like a religious commando. Like a Black Christian Cat.

Praise the lord.

Finished a detailed overview of Mohanlal’s life. Sent it to Dominic including clips of famous scenes (fight, romance, dialogue).

PROJECT MOHANLAL IS ALL SYSTEMS GO DIARY!!!

To be honest, right now I am both excited and tremendously nervous. Excited because this is a great opportunity to prove myself in Dufresne. There are still some people here who question my promotion to associate. Especially Boris. Unless I do something spectacular, I have a feeling he is going to give me a terrible Mentor Rating for this year.

(Also Boris is very very jealous. Apparently they are going to replace his page in the HR section on the Dufresne website with a profile of the Robin-ator. But you can’t hold a grudge against a person for excellence no? When I see Boris sometimes I begin to understand why the US bombed the Vietnamese and had to use people like Rambo.)

But I am also nervous. What if it goes wrong? What if I am unable to make Tom see our point of view? Lives are at stake here.

And it all boils down to me.
