  43. Wahida Clark on Mental and Behavioral Health

It seemed like forever for Trae to come back to the room. Alone with my thoughts, I wondered if this was karma for pushing Charli Li down the stairs while she was pregnant and causing her to lose the baby. Hell no! This wasn’t no damn karma. Trae went too far with that Asian bitch. He had me all fucked up if he thought I was gon’ lay down, roll over, tuck my tail between my legs and take it.

Or was this karma for what Trae did when he dragged me down the stairs on the private jet and tried to throw me off, causing me to miscarry Kyron’s baby? What the fuck was that dream about? Just yesterday he asked me some dumb shit about my feelings with Kyron being similar to my feelings with him. I heard him, but he acted as if I didn’t. The false labor pains had me occupied.

Please God, don’t let this be Kyron’s baby. Please!

Chapter Fifteen

KYRON

Session One

“Please. Have a seat, Mr. Santos.” The doctor gestured toward the burgundy couch.

Kyron glanced around the small office space. He stood with his hands deep down in his pockets, frowned and then sat down. “Tell me why the fuck I’m here, yo.”

“As you know, Mr. Santos, I have been assigned by the courts to conduct a mental assessment.”

“What the fuck does that mean?” He caught himself. You and that bitch Mari are the ones that need a mental assessment. He chuckled at the thought. “Are you sure that it has nothing to do with that best friend of yours?” he questioned. Kyron was pretty much aware of Mari and how she was manipulating the psychiatrist like a puppet. He knew Mari was up to something, but he definitely didn’t see this coming. Mari was over New York’s probation department. He knew Mari had clout within the court system, but damn.

“If you decide to go against the court order, that’s on you, Mr. Santos. I am not here to force you. I couldn’t care less about you returning to prison.” She swung around to her computer and began typing.

“What are you typing?”

Dr. Gillis did not respond, she continued to type.

“All right, all right. What do you want to know?”

She swiveled around, facing him. “The sooner you cooperate, the faster these sessions will be over. I need every detail leading up to the stabbing incident in that hospital. Also, the courts are requesting to see your next plan of action. But today, let’s start with the relationship leading up to the stabbing.”

Kyron leaned back onto the couch. He was going to have to play their little game for now. If not, it would be back to prison and things had just started cooking for him.
