- Wahida Clark on Mental and Behavioral Health
“I’m not too sure about that.” She released a deep sigh. “The more time that passes, the more depressed I get. I can’t seem to shake him, Angel. And plus, it just feels like I’m the only one who wants to know what happened to him. Does anyone else even care? Believe me when I say I’m trying to let him go. I’m really trying. It’s probably why I ended up here, because I can’t let go!”
“Mari, let’s keep it real. This is me you’re talking to. You had a reason to come here. Unless you make a habit of coming to people’s houses to use the bathroom with envelopes. What was in it? Why did you give it to Trae? You didn’t know he was going to be here. What’s in the envelope?”
She rolled her eyes at me. “The sessions, Angel.”
“What do you mean the sessions?”
“Recorded sessions of Kyron. He didn’t know that I arranged for him to have a sit down with a psychiatrist. I wanted to get to the bottom of what was driving him to be with her. What the hell wasn’t I doing at home? What was I not doing in the bedroom, Angel?”
“Okay, but Kyron has been dead for a while now. To you, much longer than it feels, I’m sure. So, I don’t understand why Trae needs to hear what you wanted to know about what was going on with Tasha and Kyron. That man just came home today, and you’re here on some bullshit.”
“Of course, you would say that. Tasha is your girl. And, yes, I am on some bullshit. My best bullshit. I don’t care if he came home tomorrow. I would still make sure that he knows his wife was in love with my man. I shouldn’t be the only one hurting.”
What doctor would release private recorded sessions of their patients? Obviously, someone with nothing to lose. Mari had to be delusional. In love? Bullshit! Kyron was pussy drunk, and he fell right into Tasha’s web. She got revenge, while getting dicked down. That’s it, that’s all. So, I didn’t know why Mari was still on this they were in love bullshit.
In my opinion, my girl was in the right to get revenge on Trae. The shit he was into would drive any woman crazy. But Kyron didn’t love or want Mari. She was in a relationship by herself. Now Mari was telling me that she gave Trae some tapes that would more than likely unravel their martial ties once and for all. I foresaw more harm than good in that envelope. I needed to get it from him. The last thing we needed was to start a new beef. I raced out of the bathroom leaving her messy ass in there by her damn self.
