  43. Wahida Clark on Mental and Behavioral Health

I admired myself in the sun visor as I sat in front of Kay’s house. My face was flawless and blemish free and my sensual curves were defined like a figure eight, but there was one thing I was missing. The one and only thing I craved, Kyron’s seed. I was overwhelmed with the loss of my fiancé. His murder tore me up something serious and, in my mind, Tasha Macklin was carrying my baby, the baby I should be having.

I thought about the night before and how I promised Kyron that I wasn’t going to stop until I avenged his death. The thought of me making promises to him as I gazed at the picture of him on my nightstand and fucked myself had my panties getting moist.

“Don’t worry, Kyron. I’m going to get our baby back.” I repeated the words I spoke to the love of my life last night.

Now that he was dead all his faults had died, too, leaving me with only the good memories; the loving memories that had to be buried with him because of Tasha’s bitch ass and her selfishness. How did I end up here? I thought to myself. Ugh!

I thought about turning around and leaving but I couldn’t. I grabbed my cellphone from the middle console and went to Angel’s Instagram page. I looked at the pictures of Angel, Jaz, Kyra and Tasha posted up like they didn’t have a care in the world, and although I already saw the pictures on her page last night; I found myself getting heated all over again. Fuck it! I thought to myself.

Tasha had me fucked up! She thought that she was just going to fuck my man, fuck up our engagement, and live happily ever after? “Oh, believe me, bitch… You thought I was going to lay down this easy? You best believe, I’m coming for you!”

I no longer regretted the pop-up visit that I was doing. I grabbed the envelope out of the passenger’s seat and stared at it. I was beyond pissed, and lately, I had really been missing and mourning my fiancé, Kyron. He was murdered seven months ago, and I still had yet to come to grips with his death. Damn, why him? On top of that, no one had been charged.

I sent his brother Kay a text to come outside. The package I was holding onto was burning my hands. I had to see Kay. Plus, I needed to ask him, why was I the only one mourning? After the funeral, the only person who consistently kept in touch with me was his cousin Kendrick. He seemed more distraught than Kay was. Were the two of us the only ones mourning his death and seeking closure? Shit was suspect to me.
