Now I had no option. So I sent her a reply, with a cc to everyone, telling her that I was excited to do this for her right away. I was eagerly looking forward to really adding value to the LLTLF initiative in any way I can. I promised to submit a first-cut budget right after lunch. I signed off by asking her to feel free to send any other Group B tasks my way right away. Even though I am swamped with Dufresne work, I said, I have always had a soft corner in my heart for truly meaningful CSR initiatives and I would be happy to pitch in any way possible.

I was so angry while writing that email that my ears turned red and my face was throbbing with blood pressure. Polish woman saw this and asked me if I was alright. I told her I was pissed off at someone and would like a Diet Coke please. She said ok. I never got that Diet Coke. But two hours later a mechanic came and gave me a new printer toner cartridge. (What the …)

Meanwhile Sugandh has gone from being the blackmailing IT manager of a serviced apartment complex to thinking that he is a direct descendant of the Lederman family. Everyone is a little scared of him because he sits on Tom’s floor. He occasionally comes downstairs and walks around, in full suit with jacket and tie like a waiter, asking people random questions and introducing himself as Andy. Once he came and stood next to me. I looked at him and ordered one black coffee, one club sandwich and half-plate french fries. He got very upset and ran away. And then he sent an email with a cc to Tom asking me for a progress report on LLTLF. (Expected revenge.)

Diary I don’t want anything else in the world right now. Just someone I can cc emails to so that I can piss off people like Jenny and Sugandh. Frustrated.

Occasionally Sugandh sees me in the apartments. Day before yesterday he came to thank me. And then apologized for behaving oddly at work. He told me that it wouldn’t suit his status in the office to be seen as interacting with consultants and other staff informally.

WHAT STATUS FUCKER!!! WHAT STATUS IN OFFICE YOU FRAUD!!! IF I HADN’T MADE YOUR BIODATA YOU WOULD STILL BE SITTING HELPING 80-YEAR OLD AMERICAN IDIOT TOURISTS TO DO WEB CHECK-IN IN THE BUSINESS CENTRE.

Chutiya.

But today I think I really pissed him off with that waiter joke which I hit back over his head for a six off the last ball.

If he thinks he can screw with me then I’m fully prepared to counter-attack.
