You know what you are? You’re everything that’s wrong with the world today. Nobody respects anybody else anymore. Nobody wants to participate in civilization. That’s what this is. This line, this line of ten people standing here is civilization. And you are the Dark Ages, pal. You are the barbaric hordes coming down. That’s what you are. You are the Mongols, the Huns, the Visigoths, the Turks. Why don’t you just get a sword and chop us all to pieces? Then there’d be no one ahead of you. You could stick our heads on poles. Maybe send us to a camp someplace. Yeah, just go stand in that line! That’s not the gold card line. (To phone) Sonia? Hello, honey? Oh, honey, it’s Daddy, Jeremy, is Mommy there? Get Mommy. Daddy. Daddy. DADDY! The guy who lives in your house. Listen, can you get Mommy, I’m at the airport. And it’s an emergency and I have to talk to Mommy right now. (Impatient, but talking in a slight babyish tone) Yes. That’s right. Daddy’s going to fly in a big airplane. No, no I don’t think so, it’s not going to go “BOOM” and crash. That wouldn’t be nice, now would it? Get Mommy please. Huh? Of course I’m gonna get you something. Don’t I always get you something? I don’t know, something. Yes. It’ll be worth at least twenty dollars, yes. Please get Mommy. Get Mommy now.
