  43. Wahida Clark on Mental and Behavioral Health

“Muah!” I air kissed myself in the mirror. Mr. Macklin was going to trip all over himself when he saw me.

But as for that bitch, Tasha, I wanted to sick some bull mastiffs on her ass and sit and watch as they ripped her to shreds.

Yes, I still loved Trae. I would always love him regardless of the ups and downs I’d had to endure to be with him. He was mine and I was his. And he would officially be all mine once I got Tasha out of the way. Permanently.

TASHA

The faint smell of breakfast woke me up. I opened my eyes to see the twins sitting on the edge of the bed watching television. Caliph was on the other side of Trae occupied with his tablet. Trae. Yes! Trae. My arms were wrapped around his waist. Feeling him, seeing him, breathing in his essence was my dream come true. And true to himself, he was basking in his morning ritual.

Smoking a blunt.

“Hey, sleeping beauty.” He smiled down at me.

“Hey, handsome. What are you up to?”

“Waiting patiently for you to wake up.”

I could tell that he was waiting because his dick was hard, standing straight up, forming a tent under the sheet.

“I told you I was gonna knock that ass out. Look at you. Oversleeping and shit. We done been to the store, cooked breakfast, went shopping, the whole nine.”

“Stop lying.” I smiled. I only believed the breakfast part because I could smell food. But yes, he did knock my ass out. We went several rounds last night. I stopped counting after orgasm number three. My kitty began to tingle at the thought. I needed every last thrust and grind. I was on fire the whole time at Angel’s. I couldn’t wait for him to take me home and make love . . . I mean dick me down. All night I had been having foreplay, touching Trae. His face. His biceps. Stealing a kiss. It was like I was seeing him for the first time. He was ripped like he was a personal trainer. It was as though I was in a dream. My man was home. Even with Mari, adamant about bringing all of her drama, I refused to allow anything to spoil the joy of having him back home. All I knew was I had forgiven my man, and he had forgiven me, and we were going to make it work.

Even though nature was calling, I held him tighter and wouldn’t let go. “Why are you so quiet? What are you thinking about?”

“We’re waiting for word to go see Don Carlos.”

“Is that good or bad?”
