My second book idea is a tragedy–thriller–disaster about Ashwin, an unfortunate novelist. He writes a wonderful crime–religion novel spanning Europe and India. But he is spurned by a publishing company called Polar Bird Books India. After trying to convince them several times, he has a mental breakdown. Then, using submachine guns, he takes the entire publishing company hostage. He kills one person per hour, finishing with the publisher, before escaping out of an air conditioning duct and starting a new life in Dubai. Penguin is currently looking very seriously at Total Publisher Annihilation Holocaust.
It was while working on Total Publisher Annihilation Holocaust that one day I received a mysterious package from London. There was a note along with the packet:
Sidin Vadukut,
I read recently about your book based on Robin Varghese. A few years ago, when I was an intern here in London, I had the opportunity to spend sometime with Varghese. He is the most disgusting human being I have ever met. Later he went back to India and I joined Lederman as a full-time employee. In the beginning I was asked to work temporarily in a disused conference room.
There I discovered, under the table, a USB drive with hundreds of diary entries. By Robin Varghese.
Till today I was hoping to use it to humiliate him very publicly. But did not know how. But after hearing about you, I am relieved. You will know what to do.
Please find the USB drive in a box along with this letter. I hope you will find it useful. I hope to see book two shortly.
Regards,
J
Readers, what you hold in your hands, assuming you are holding this book, is the outcome of months of editing the contents of that USB drive. Robin had written hundreds of entries about all kinds of things. Unfortunately, details of the statue incident at Piccadilly Circus are missing completely.
Here in these pages you will once again read about Robin in the office. But also about Robin the art and culture connoisseur. I decided to involve these entries so that you get a more well-rounded impression of his personality.
I hope you will enjoy this book as much as the first one.
While many people in India and the United Kingdom have collaborated to make this book a success, any and all errors you may find in these pages are entirely Robin ‘Einstein’ Varghese’s fault.

First of all I’d like to thank everyone who bought my first book. If you guys hadn’t, then this book would have never seen the light of day.
Second, I’d like to thank everyone who not only bought my first book, but also read it. And sent me feedback. If you read this book carefully you’ll see that much of your feedback has been incorporated. For example this book is no longer in a lemon-rice yellow colour that is visible from space.
To all my Twitter folk and whatay.com buddies: I won’t thank you, because we are too close for that kind of formality.
