My heart races so fast I feel like I’m about to pass out, as I look to the end of the aisle and see Shay, DeShaun, and Juliana all watching us with pure astonishment written all over their faces. I’m shocked too, and this feels like I’m falling head-first into my wildest dream, because I didn't imagine that Nathan was looking at me as he came down the escalator. He really was, and this is why. This man has had me wrapped around his finger with his words for four years now, and seeing him in person feels like it’s too good to be true. A bestselling author, only four years older than me, breathtakingly gorgeous, and he’s asking me out. I’d be a fool to say no to whatever adventure life seems to have in store for me. So, I don’t.

I look Nathan Booker in his gorgeous face, and smile so hard it starts to hurt. “Absolutely.”

~ Someone To Feed It ~

Chapter Ten

“I can’t believe I’m over here swiping left and right on Tinder while you’re getting ready for a date with a bestselling author. Not just any bestselling author, but your favorite bestselling author. I mean, what is this world coming to?”

“I don’t know, but if the universe could keep up this good luck, I’d really appreciate it, because I feel like I’m finally winning,” I reply to Juliana as I slide a tight-fitting white sweater over my head. The sweater is long and doubles as a dress that stops just above my knees. When I look at myself in the mirror, I smile at my reflection, because not only do I love this sweater for the fabric, but it also hugs my curves. Never mind the fact that it took me too long to actually begin loving the curves on my body. All that matters is that I love them now, and I’ll proudly flaunt them tonight.
