  48. About the Author

The poor kid’s father lived under some kind of tagged Incarceration that they said was a Humane Equivalent to Jail and therefore not allowed to leave his premises. He spent the whole night in the doorway more or less, calling out for Robert to come back, sometimes loud and sometimes softer.

He did not see Jessica creep by.

*

Sometimes just a change of circumstances is enough to make a life change for the better for some people and get the depressions lifted. Outside on the Highway a Campervan went by full of happy young people that were going on a Holiday and drinking Diet Sprite. They stopped the bus to offer Jessica a ride and she went with them to a New Town where there were still some of the freedoms and she could maybe start a new kind of Life, who knew if it would last.

*

The kid ppl said was defective (Robert) was not so lucky though and dint get chance to espcae. Cops with Burgers, Tasers and Odour Free Coffee arrived when he left her apartment and tackled him to the motherfucking floor then dragged him off to face a Court with Martial Law.

*

The sentence they came out with was what they called the Humane Equivalent of the Death Penalty which meant that poor Robert was strapped under Heavy Sedation on a plastic mattress in his Father’s apartment and left there unconscious in legal perpetuity. It was a case of total disproportion, but no appeals and nothing to be done. Father was like hard broken.

Workers from the Government working less than minimum wage came by the next week as the Robert kid  lay there oblivious and painted out his Graffitis.

So where it said I THOUGHT I SMELLED SOMETHING DIRTY it then said nothing at all.

Last of the First 11

Last of the First 11

There was once a huge quantity of fog as descended on Endland (sic) and easily overwhelmed the road network causing chaos, grildlock and spectaculure crashes. Amongst the dead were many people that did not really matter or inspire the mind of sentimental headline writers etc but the attention of unprincipled idiots was certenly atrackted (sic) by a whole coach load of school-age football players as was killed in one pile up, along with a large accompanying set of moms, dads and adoptive carers, managers, trainers, school teacherz and other suspected abuser molesters that were also bare crushed into pieces or thrown asunder in the wreckage.

Indeed at that tragi-lucrative scene soon arrived ambulance chasters (sic) w cold hearts and a vile horde of paparazzi w selfie sticks that grew long and rock hard to see the non-Biblical carnage of horns sounding and steam rising from smashed radiators into what the I-Witness News bloke called the ‘deadly fog what had so unfairly struck at the brave heart of Endland ©’ etc etc, his commentary quickly earning more than 10k Likes.

A certain quantity of the fog lifted to another location.
