  48. About the Author

In locality there were rumours of cause. Some said G was seen wandering naked at midnight and moonlight each night. Some that G. was not really G, but instead a fraud/imposter come to reap illegal the familly of its ill fortune. Some said that G was ghost or spirit, robot, android or ghoul. Or that G was only CGI. Some said that if you stared in G’s eyes you could see the pixelated swirl of the internet she’d fallen into so long years and years before. That in her heart was the song of a old school modem – hissing calling, crackling and bursting.

When G’s mum Martha inevitably died of mostly unknown causes it was G as then inherited all the little money and a pitiful amount that she had and her sisters stopped speaking to her in a jealous rage. And so it was according to what the poets say, that Martha exited the house, selling up and then moving henceforthly to a different place on a edge of the city (of S_______) less filled up with other people’s memories.

The wall of Karim Kebabs was covered in pictures of people that no one remembers, not even Shiv who manages the place for Karim. Kareem (alternatively spelled Karim, (Kahreem) or Kerim) (Arabic: کر?م‎) is a common given name and surname of Arabic origin that means generous or noble. It should not be confused with Al-Karim (Arabic: الکر?م‎), which is one of the 99 names of Allah, meaning The Most Generous. Karim is also a spelling of the similar, though much less common, name (Arabic: كرم‎), which is commonly spelled as Karam, Karem or Kerem. Another derivative name of (Arabic: أکرم‎) is Akram, meaning more generous

One night in a storm Gina took shelter in a pub that looked like it had once seen better dayze. The pub was run by a cruel Ogre (and also wife of the ogre) in fact a hideous, man-like being that liked to eat ordinary human beings, especially infants and the children. It (the pub) was organized like a straightfwd converted mega franchise come Open-Plan Beer Zone & Video Jukebox Sky Sports and Karaoke Palace (also Microbrewery) that had long ago been abandoned by its supposedly natural olde clientele while the younger ladz and chicas of the area round it considered going there as an insult to their cosmopolitan dignity cos they and all their numerous mates etc sed proudly they ‘only liked drinking in town’.
