- About the Author
Frankie still had problems with his knees but he said that was just the price of fame he had to pay – cos after that Tape he made another tape called Remembrances of Judas Iscariot and that went well on the Internets mainly as a download and after that he teamed up with Chaz Verba and Chavandra Wilson, the trans talkshow host and the gnc porn star, to make this thing called Loose Promise, with a duo of New Zealand newcomers called Lennon and McCartney. She could never keep track of his career. It was so confusing. It was always something new, always some new deal with some new sponsorship thing or some new viral video thing that he’d caught off some co-star that meant he was totally covered in cold sores or had heavily pixelated lacerations all over his back. Anyhow, once he had starred in that other thing that really made it big – the thriller tape called Psychotic Persecutions and Near-Death Execution of An Inflatable Man – he suffered extreme and severe physical incapacitations in a number of significant ways but basically it did not matter cos he had made enough money never to work again, at least if he didn’t want to.
When Frankie came round it was always with an entourage – they were the kind of people who were not gonna be put off by a constant persistent downpour of partly radioactive rain and you could easily tell how the ebbs and flows of his fame were ebbing and flowing just by counting the number of people there were following Frankie on a day to day basis and working out how many of them were real paparazzi and how many of them were just chancers or like foreign idioten mit camcorders und cameraphones. She got tired of it sometimes – the way that there was always the big group of people listening and watching outside the apartment and she would say oh Frankie, Frankie my heart grows heavy from all this and he would say no, your heart does not get heavy, that is not biology that is more like a metaphor. And she would nod, sadly, in agreement.
