“Stay in Neverland with me,” he grates out as his lips trail down my chest, his teeth marking me, claiming me, as his length pulses and throbs as he forces it slowly in and out of my sex.
My head falls forward and his movements still. We stare in each other’s eyes and before too long he starts to smile. Gone is the man, before me sits the boy with fear in his eyes.
“Stay with me Wendy, and I promise to go wherever you go.”
“I could never leave you, Peter. Even when we were apart, you always had my heart.”
He smiles. “Summers in Kingston Gardens?”
“Winters in Neverland?”
This time I smile. A future unfolding before the both of us that we never expected.
“I’m going to spend the rest of my life making you happy, Wendy.” He lays me back against the sheets and slowly starts to make love to me. “And when this life is over. I’ll find you and love you even more in the next.”
He doesn’t say another word, only loves me wholeheartedly, just like he said he would. No barriers. No secrets. Nothing holding us back. When we crash over this time, it’s into a new beginning that promises to somehow, be brighter and better than our first.
Chapter 24
Tinker Bell
“I don’t know whether the idea came suddenly to Tink, or rather she had planned it on the way, but she… began to lure Wendy to her destruction. Tink was not all bad: or, rather, she was all bad just now.”
Peter & Wendy
- J.M. Barrie
“And do you think they suspect anything?” My eyes bore into his, a dark glow strengthens between us as I implore his mind to tell me what he’s thinking. If he’s lying.
“No,” he mumbles, shaking his head and taking a step forward out of the shadows. “They’re too obsessed with each other,” my hands shake in rage, “too captivated, infatuated, to ever see straight. To ever see past what they have between them.”
“Just like they were before,” Tiger Lily sighs in displeasure next to me.
I turn her way, my patience wearing thin as my hands grip the arms of the chair I’m sitting in. My knuckles turn white as my heart beats out of my chest. Envy rushes through my veins, fueled by a hatred that’s only strengthened since Wendy’s been back.
“Just like they’ve always been,” Tiger Lily continues. My teeth clench and I hiss out a heavy sigh. “Just like they always will be. As long as she’s still breathing.”
“So, we stop her breathing.” I hiss out with no regard for the person in front of me.
