Chapters (36)
Pushing off the floor, coming to a kneel between her legs, my hands fall to her nightgown, and I start to unbutton the light blue fabric confidently. Claiming her as my own will give her what she wants. All I’ve ever wanted was to make Wendy mine, to give her everything she could ever desire.
“Is that all?” I smile, brushing the gown off her shoulders, exposing her breasts to the cool night air. My mouth waters as my eyes take in her creamy, delicate skin. Her nipples are pink and deliciously hard. I brush my fingertips across them gently. A shiver courses through her body as I look up to meet her stare.
“Stay with me, Wendy,” I whisper, gently leaning forward, “and you’ll never have to worry about losing me.”
Closing my mouth over her nipple, my fingers raise her nightgown up her thighs in a hurry. Before she can respond, I pull her panties to the side and thrust two fingers inside her wet pussy.
She’s mine. Always has been. For as long as I can remember, I’ve only ever remembered Wendy. Even when I couldn’t remember anything else. Tonight, I’m taking what’s mine, and nothing she can say, nothing she can do, is going to stop me.
Chapter 14
Hook
“I say, Wendy, always, if you see me forgetting you, just say, ‘I’m Wendy,’ and then I’ll remember.”

PRESENT DAY
I didn’t take her that night, nor for many more that followed.
I look at her now, sitting across the large table from me in the dining room of a home we once shared together, and finally understand why.
“Who did this to you, Darling?”
“You did, Peter. You did.”
Lies. The damage was done long before I ever stole Wendy away to Neverland. It’s part of what she was running from that day in the forest, trying to mask her suffering by possibly inflicting a new wound she wasn’t ready for. When I realized how fragile she was as she fell apart in my arms, tears falling from her eyes after I forced her to cum again on my tongue, I held her close and whispered promises that could never be broken. Remembering them, having her here with me now, I finally realize the truth.
She’s mine.
Years apart won’t change that.
It wasn't over between us. For as long as I have breath in my lungs, and as much as it pains me, because I told myself I wouldn’t let her close again, I’m finally understanding. It still isn’t fucking over.
The flames of the candles flicker as they light the room. She brings her glass of wine to her lips, and I do the same. Both of us studying each other across the empty space. Both of us waiting each other out, wanting to see who will break first.
