Nathan is back to teaching and all my teacher/student fantasies have been fulfilled. We’ve even been able to sneak a quickie in his office. I have to say it was a fantasy I never knew I had. We still see Candy eyeing the guys, but I glare at her every chance I get, watching our drinks, and I can’t say that I haven’t thought about putting something in her drink as payback. I thought violent diarrhea would make me feel better, but they outvoted me.
The guys don’t go to therapy as often anymore, just once a month. Nathan has learned to stop blaming himself for Natalie’s death. This year, we spent the anniversary of her death in Paris, spreading her ashes along the countryside. It had been her dream to go to culinary school in Paris and settle in a small cottage in the countryside. Nathan no longer talks to his mother, finally seeing that she was just using his guilt to fund her bad habits. He doesn’t talk about her, but from the snippets he’s given me, it sounds like she is an addict. When he is ready, he’ll tell me.
Aiden’s business is booming. The housing proposal Aiden drafted, and I helped finish, was approved. We got funding, found land, and the guys started right away. They have just finished building ten homes, and there’s talk of possibly building more or having some sort of funding for people who are moving to work in Mountain View. He has a few enormous projects in the coming year, one of them being Aiden’s parents’ house. They are ready to move from Denver and be closer to him. They are absolutely wonderful, and I adore his mother. She is the epitome of warmth, love, and kindness. I wish she was my mother. His parents had no questions or judgment about our relationship, and I loved them instantly for that.
We went back to the hotel to rest before having dinner tonight with my family. Tonight, we would remember the little one I never got to hold, but is always in my heart. I walked into the small room we had reserved for tonight. Having three virile men as boyfriends, one of them was always grabbing me for a quickie, or in this case, they worshiped me until I screamed. I screamed, we were late, of course, wink, wink.
JD and Katherine came up to us first. Katherine was pregnant with their first child, and I couldn’t wait to find out what it was in the next couple of weeks. Matthew, Sabrina and their hoard of children were next. Aiden and Nathan each took a running kid and threw them in the air; Cal held baby Mia since she was only a few months old. I’m pretty sure they conceived her at Paul’s wedding.
