“Let’s get this over with so we can come home safely.” Callum walked to the front door, and we followed suit. The ride to Monroe was silent as I rode in the back with Callum. I massaged his hands, making sure he was loose, making my way up his arms until I got to his shoulders. He leaned forward to let me massage his neck. I wanted to prep his mind, and make sure he was relaxed enough so he could go into the fight confidently.

Once we arrived at the club, we made our way in through the back and into a locker room. As Callum got ready, I checked my bag again and noticed Nathan slipping out. I had a small belt that I could wear with some essentials when I stepped into the ring. Watching Aiden and Callum warm up, I knew I shouldn’t be turned on.  It was hard not to when they both had their shirts off, muscles rippling with their movements, and an angry scowl on their face.

“Your right side is still weak. Make sure you're not leaving it open.” Aiden had some pads covering his hand as Callum went through a series of punches. He was light on his feet, moving with a speed that amazed me. He started off stiff, but by the end of the warmup, Callum looked light on his feet and he was moving more fluidly.

“You’re drooling, Jane.” Nathan pushed my jaw up to close my mouth. “Are you getting turned on?”

“Of course, you want to make me more turned on? Why don’t you join them?” I smirked at him.

“You want us to roll around in Jell-o while we fight for you?” he smirked back at me.

“I wouldn’t be opposed to it. It would be hot as hell.” I bit my lip just thinking about it. “Maybe instead of Jell-O, some chocolate and whipped cream.”

Nathan grinned. “I think that could be arranged.”

We stared at each other when the door abruptly opened and slammed against the wall. Two guys walked in with Lucio trailing behind them, looking smug. Jesus Christ, I was tired of seeing this man.

Jane

Lucio walked toward us with his security buffoons, like he was the President of the United States. They had earpieces attached to radios, making them seem pretty legit. Just seeing his goons look more professional made me more nervous. Did he need professional guards because he might be in danger, or what was he getting into that required this level of protection?

“Callum!” He yelled like they were old friends.

“Lucio,” Callum said, looking stoic.

“Aiden, Nathan and ahhhh, the lovely Jane,” he purred my name.

Nathan stood slightly in front of me.

“Lucio,” I said, not wanting to engage too much with him.

“Don’t be shy.” He looked me up and down, noticing my belt of medical supplies.
