The door to the ER opened, and a panicked Nathan brought the wheelchair. My chest tightened even more at these men and the protective vibe they had for Kelsey.

“Jane?!?” Kelsey moaned.

“Let’s get you in the chair and we can go up.” I guided her to sit down, and she shot right back up.

“Kelsey, I need for you to…”

“I feel pressure, A LOT,” she gritted her teeth.

“Shit, ok, sit down for just a minute while I get you a room in the ER. I don’t think we have time to go up to Labor and Delivery.”

She was sweating as she sat down. “It hurts!” she yelled.

I pushed Nathan away from the handles and pushed her into a room. Kelsey was moaning very colorful words as I heard the guys trail behind me.

“Brenda, call L&D, tell them I don’t think she is going to make it upstairs,” I yelled, not bothering to look at her as I swiped my card and gained entrance to the ER rooms.

“What is she doing here?” Eric sounded surprised.

“She feels pressure and her water broke outside.” I barked as I pulled her into the room.

“They…They are expecting her upstairs.” He looked scared.

“Fuck!” Kelsey groaned again. “It burns and I think I feel her head.”

“We don’t have time, Eric.” I snapped. “Someone help me put her on the bed.” Callum and Aiden went to lift her out of the chair and put her on the bed as Kelsey frantically pulled down her leggings. Her mama instincts were coming through. My heart swelled with pride at this woman. We were fucking amazing.

“Kelsey, what are you doing?” Nathan stood in the doorway with wide eyes.

“If you don’t want to see her give birth, you better step out.” I threw a blanket over her lap and then helped her take her pants off.

Kelsey grabbed Callum’s hand. “Please don’t leave me,” she sobbed. “Don’t leave me alone.”

“I won’t, I promise.” His deep voice sounded full of love.

“You got this, Kelsey,” Nathan said as he kissed her head. “You’re amazing.”

“You’re so strong and you are safe,” Aiden came around to the other side of the bed and kissed her head, too.

All three of them surrounded her. I was screwed. I would not stand a chance with these guys. I was falling, and I was afraid I would not land on my feet.
