“Alright, have your orgy when she comes back,” Evan said, hopping into his car and pulled away. I made sure we both had our seatbelts on. Making sure he was as comfortable as possible, I looked for my phone to call the nurse on staff to expect us, but I realized I must have left it on the table next to Nathan. I told Nathan I was going to grab my phone, and I ran back into the house.

“She needs to just get the fuck out of here,” Callum snarled. “She needs to go back to Dallas.”

“We can’t just send her packing,” Aiden replied.

“Nathan agreed he wanted her gone. What else do we have to do to convince you?” It sounded like Callum was pacing.

“I just think we are rushing into this.” Aiden sounded frustrated.

“You knew this would not last, anyway,” Cal snapped. “I mean how long...”

I couldn’t take it anymore, gosh I was such a fucking idiot thinking this was going to be different. Why did I do this to myself? Why did I think that I could have found someone or multiple someone’s? Cleary, I’m a hopeless love-sick fool.

“I’m tired of this, she just needs to leave...” It was Aiden who spoke this time, and I felt like it was the last nail in the coffin. Fuck this.

I walked into the living room, feeling the tension rising.

“Jane?” Aiden spoke.

I didn’t want to look at either of them. I couldn’t. I wasn’t strong enough to hear their rejection aimed at me. Grabbing my phone, I tried to leave quickly.

“Jane,” Callum barked at me.

I was almost at the front door when I felt a hand on my upper arm. “Jane,” Aiden’s deep voice pleaded with me.

“Don’t,” I snarled, as I looked up at him. He was sporting a bruised cheek with a busted lip. Dammit, why did I look at him? He was so breathtaking that just looking at him made his words sting even worse.

“Jane, just listen.” Callum came to the other side of me.

“Fuck you, guys,” I said, pulling my arm out of his grip and yanking the door open.  I  walked straight to my car. I opened the door, ready to get the fuck out of here, when I saw Nathan looking at me, confused. His multi-colored gaze was looking so innocent. I didn’t know what to do, and I would feel like an asshole if I didn’t take him to the hospital. Nathan needed my help, but Evan was here. They didn’t need me, and Callum said he didn’t want me.

“Get the fuck out, Nathan,” I snapped.

“What happened?” He had the balls to fucking ask.

“Get out of the…”

“Jane, what happened? Talk to me.” He was pleading. I sat in the driver’s seat, not looking at him.
