“Out. Of. The. Fucking. Car!” I yelled.

“Jane, talk to me, please.” He sounded panicked. “What did they say?” I saw Aiden and Cal outside of the car, not knowing what to do.

“Out. Don’t fucking drag this out, Nathan,” The tears wouldn’t stay away. “Just let me leave with some fucking dignity.” Cal came to my side of the door, leaning down to see me through the window.

“No. I’m not getting out of this car, and I want you to tell me.” Nathan's door opened.

“Jane, let’s talk,” Aiden said, leaning down.

“Why are you dragging this out!?” I screamed. “Nathan, get the fuck out of this fucking car before I drive off with the door open.” I was tired of this shit. What was happening? Why were they doing this? I felt like a panic attack was about to happen.

“Ok. I’m getting out, but we need to talk about whatever the fuck happened in there.” I saw him glare at Aiden and Callum. “We all need to chill out, and we can talk later, ok?”

I didn’t respond, just staring straight ahead. There was no way in hell I was going to come back, it was the same shit happening again.

“Jane, we will call you.” Nathan got out of the car, but he bent down to look through the door. “I can come with you. I promise I won’t say a thing.”

“Go to the hospital, Nathan.” I backed the car up a bit so he would get the hint to get the fuck out of the way. I was confused, and I needed to get away to clear my head. He was being nice, and I didn't understand why. I’m positive they all wanted me gone. Aiden helped Nathan get out of the way, and shut the door. I backed out, turning around when I passed Evan’s car. I felt his stare on me as I turned around, and I made the mistake of looking in the rearview mirror and seeing Nathan push Aiden away from him. As soon as I made it down the driveway, my phone started ringing, and I saw Aiden’s name on the screen. There were a few calls that came in, one right after another. By the fourth time, I answered it.

“I’m not answering because I don’t want to talk. Can’t you just leave me the fuck alone?” I snapped.

“Jane?” My lawyer’s voice came through.

“Oh, my god I’m so sorry George, I thought you were someone else.” Embarrassment made my cheeks redden.

“I was going to say, is this the reason you haven’t been answering my calls?” He sounded a little panicked.

“I’m sorry George, I’ve been busy here in Mountain View with the house, and I’ve also been working here. I know I need to take care of a few things with the….”
