By the time we got home, it was past midnight. We drove in silence as each of us needed to get our shit together, so we could finally pursue Jane like we had agreed on. During the entire drive, I couldn’t stop thinking of the sex we had on Monday. The feel of her skin, the taste of her desire, the fucking noises she made as she came. I had been thinking about it all week. She was like a coffee addiction, and I couldn’t wait for the days I could have her in the morning, a pick-me-up during the day, and a taste after dinner.

“Fuck.”

I looked up to the house as we pulled in, seeing Kelsey’s car outside. Cal and I jumped out of the car while Aiden parked. I opened the door quickly, looking around for her, worried something had happened. Kelsey didn’t like us fawning over her. She hated when we all went big brother on her, but we couldn’t help it after years of being around her. We finally found her sleeping on the sofa.

Cal kneeled down next to her. “Kelsey.” Callum breathed in relief. “You scared the shit out of us.”

Kelsey slowly got up from our sofa, looking half asleep. “You didn’t text me back. I got worried.”

“It’s been a crazy night,” he said, sitting next to her.

She took his head in her hands. “Fuck, Cal. Did you kick his ass?”

Cal winced when she ran her hand over his arms, carefully checking that he was alright. “I’m fine. Jane was there to patch me up. I just need an ice bath and I’m going to sleep it off.”

“Thank God you’re ok.” Aiden walked in looking relieved.

“Sorry, I wanted to be here when you got back, when I didn’t hear from you guys.” She shrugged. “But rewind. Jane was there? Did you guys get your shit together?”

“No. Darcy took her to the new club so they could go dancing, but Lucio found her and brought her to the fight.” Cal positioned himself on the couch trying to avoid any more pain.

“He apparently made it clear he was monitoring her and made sure we knew it.” Aiden sat down on the shorter side of the sectional.

“Wait...what?” Kelsey looked alarmed.

“He didn’t do anything, but he made it clear by bringing her there that he could. It was a fucking mess,” I said, sitting down on the other side of Kelsey.

“So… you guys didn’t make up?” She asked, looking at each of us.

“No, we might have made it worse,” Cal admitted. “It’s just a complicated, fucked up situation.”

“It’s not complicated.” Kelsey glared at Cal. “You guys are just not used to a woman who doesn’t fall at your feet, fawn over you, and doesn’t care what you do.”
