“She came with Darcy?” Aiden looked sick.
“Yeah, I saw them waiting in line. I shouldn’t have let them in, but I didn’t think anything of it, at the time,” he said, looking angry.
“Fuck, I thought…”
“You’re an ass. Did you really think she would be stupid enough to hang around Lucio?” Callum glared at Aiden.
“At least I didn’t leave after sleeping with her,” Aiden snapped back.
“Well, you just fucked us even more,” Callum said. “Now she definitely won’t want shit to do with us.”
“I think you blew us up on liftoff before we even had a chance,” Aiden yelled, getting close to Cal’s face.
“You went along with it!” He pushed Aiden back.
“Fuck you,” Aiden yelled, pushing Cal, making him wince in pain.
“Can we not fight for five fucking minutes, guys?” I yelled. “We need to get our shit together and start solving our problems together instead of blaming each other.”
“Wow…” Evan looked at us in shock. “Don’t think I’ve ever seen you guys so out of sync.”
“Not helping Evan,” I groaned, feeling exhausted with all the fighting we’ve done.
“Well, when I mentioned you guys earlier, she looked like she missed you guys, even had her blushing. So I don’t think it’s all gone to shit.” Evan looked pensively. “I don’t think pushing her away is going to keep Lucio away, either. Don’t make the same mistake that I made.”
“Darcy?” I asked.
“I regret pushing her away every day.” Evan’s voice was full of regret. “Get your shit together and go get your girl. I’ll make sure she’s safe tonight.” He left before any of us could say anything.
I turned around to the guys, and we took a moment to look at each other. “We need to be on the same page,” I said, running a hand through my hair in frustration. “Evan is right, we’ve never been this out of sync and I hate it.”
Aiden took a deep breath. “Even though you fuckers got to have your way with her. I still miss her. Evan is right. We keep pushing her away.”
“I hate that it’s gotten so fucked up. I miss her too,” Cal said, sitting down, still shaking a bit.
“So, are we in agreement about Jane now?” I said, feeling optimistic.
They took a moment to look at each other. “We are,” they said together.
“Thank fucking God, I was tired of you guys having your head up your ass.” I placed a hand on their shoulders, and they did the same. “Let’s go home to figure out how to get ourselves out of this mess.”
