“Wait, that’s not the case.” Aiden looked at her, confused.

“Oh yes, it is. When have you ever worked for a girl? You guys are so good looking that women just fall at your feet. Have you ever pursued a woman?” Kelsey looked at each of us again. “That’s what I thought. You don’t know how to keep a woman because they’ve never made you work for it.”

Callum scowled at her. “Way to make us sound like assholes.”

“Am I wrong?” She asked with a raised brow.

She wasn’t wrong, but it didn’t feel good to hear it laid out that way. We stayed silent.

“Jane isn’t a woman who is looking for a fling. This woman lost her entire world, and she has a big hole in her heart to fill.” Kelsey looked heartbroken for Jane. “You just have to be worthy to fill it because Jane is an amazing woman. She deserves to have the world at her feet and then some. Are you willing to give that to her?”

I looked at Aiden and Cal. I nodded my head because I had been ready to give her the world when we slept together. Cal and Aiden were more guarded than I was.

“I’m in,” Callum said.

“Me too,” Aiden said, still looking a little unsure.

“I’ve been all in,” I said.

“Great, now prepare to grovel because you do not know how stubborn a woman can be.” She smiled like she was ready to see us beg.

“What should we do?” Callum asked like he was worried she might say something crazy.

Kelsey laughed. “Don’t look so scared brother, I would suggest starting with small things that you know she would like. It doesn’t have to be this grand gesture, but something that says you’re thinking about her.”

“Fuck, I’m too old for this,” Aiden groaned. “I say we take turns bringing her lunch or something.”

“Remember, she might reject you guys at first, so keep trying. Show her you’re not going anywhere.” Kelsey yawned.

“Alright, let’s get you to bed. It’s really late.” Callum guided her to the extra bedroom.

Before they left down the hall, Kelsey turned around. “I’m serious. If you can’t give her everything, don’t bother. She’s been through enough and she doesn’t need any more pain. Night guys.”

Cal looked back at us, worried.

Fuck. Was this a mistake? Should we just let her go? God dammit. I hated all this going back and forth. Why couldn’t we just decide already? I sat down on the sofa, lost in my thoughts. I understood the guys’ hesitancy now. It might not be the same reason, but Kelsey was right. She had been through enough and I couldn’t imagine adding to that pain, even though I’m positive we already did.

“Here.” Aiden handed me a beer.
