Providence is the Queen and Governess of the world (Thomas Watson, “Body of Divinity”, 1686)
Trudy and her husband Norman live on the eastern shore in Maryland.
To meet them, they would strike you as a conservative couple. Trudy is a voluptuous woman who dresses immaculate in public. Norman is a quick witted and fun-loving gentleman who has a million dollar smile and a knack at making a stranger feel like a close friend. They are a refined couple that enjoys the Arts and the finer things in life. When one spends time with this couple, the word “sophistication” immediately comes to mind.
Trudy and Norman are accustomed to hosting social events at their home. Trudy is active in a number of civic organizations and she loves to organize socials and entertain friends and associates in her home.
Besides her mainstream civic duties and social parties, once a month, Trudy hosts a different kind of ladies social that would no doubt shock and surprise the people of her community. Trudy is a member of the Alice Kerr-Sutherland Society.
The Alice Kerr-Sutherland Society (AKS) is a society that was founded in England based on the alleged writings of Alice Kerr-Sutherland, who advocated the disciplining and training of young males by Adult women for the purpose of ensuring that young males grew up to become respectful and well mannered gentlemen. The AKS is big on using Victorian style discipline with the cane as the instrument of choice for the female members when it comes to disciplining males.
The Alice Kerr-Sutherland Society International was founded in 1992 as people in the United States discovered the controversial book "A Guide to the Correction of Young Gentlemen" in which Alice Kerr-Sutherland advocates physical discipline and corporal punishment of young males at the hands of females. According to the members of the AKS, “A Guide to the Correction of Young Gentlemen” was written in 1924 but before it could be published all known copies were seized by England’s Vice Squad and, after a sensational trial, burned by order of the judge, except One! Supposedly, “A Guide to the Correction of Young Gentlemen” was reprinted in 1991 and the AKS was founded on Ms Sutherland’s philosophy, but with the modification that Victorian discipline should be conducted on husbands, boyfriends and young Adult males.
