As Lee correctly points out, severe whippings do indeed hurt, being locked in a cage can be extremely uncomfortable, and having nasty things done to the genitals can be very painful. Lee is also correct by pointing out that when administered by an educated and skilled woman, these activities can be done in such a way as to cause no actual harm or injury. The couples that enjoy advanced S&M are usually educated and skilled so they can engage in intense and severe D&S activities in a safe and sane manner. Nicole and Felix and Lee and her husband are two such couples.

In my twenty plus years of practicing this lifestyle, I have met couples that were into female sadism and male masochism. Nevertheless, the majority of FemDom couples do not engage in severe activities. While their D&S sessions may be very intense and powerful, the main purpose of the D&S is not so much what occurs in the physical but rather the effect D&S activities have on the psyche. At the end of the day, the majority of S&M and D&S practices are a mind game and a power exchange that occurs in the arena of the mind. Female Domination is ultimately a sexuality that takes place within the creative world of the human psyche. Therefore, as FemDom couples experiment and explore each other’s sexuality, it is vitally important that they remain rooted and grounded in reality.

As we have seen, Female Domination is a large umbrella with many forms, expressions and lifestyles. I have shared the personal and intimate experiences of forty different couples who have incorporated Female Domination into their relationships. Some like it soft and sensual, some like it hard and rough, some like it wild and trend setting, some like it romantic, some like it controversial, some like it primarily in the bedroom, and most like it both inside and outside the bedroom.

Regardless of the flavor, most have claimed to have better marriages and relationship thanks in large part to the Female Domination lifestyle.

We have witnessed how Female Domination can build the bond of intimacy and trust between a couple. We have seen how FemDom can defuse arguments, relieve stress, transport sex to a higher level than just the physical, empower women in society, and inject excitement into the mundane tasks of life like household chores. We have seen how FemDom can satisfy the inner male child, build up a woman’s self-esteem, add spice to the bedroom, re-ignite romance, and cause a power exchange within the female/male relationship. We have seen how society is evolving toward Female rule, one relationship at a time.
