Chapters (22)
Our true natures come from the inside out but unless one opens their mind, our natures can be held captive and thus remain dormant. When this happens, our natures try to break forth via the sub-conscience. That is why a man will be going along in life and all of a sudden a scene in a movie or a story in a magazine about female domination will trigger something within his sub-conscience (bypassing his conscience) and he will experience desires he previously had no idea were there. Dreams will also express thoughts of the sub-conscience mind, as was the case with James with his dreams from his childhood.
Domination and submission is about a sexuality of the mind. Physical sex is about bodily pleasure obtained through the sensual sensations of touch and physical contact. D&S is a sexuality about mental stimulation that triggers sexual arousal. Within the submissive male are psychological triggers that when stimulated within his mind, will trigger an intense sexual arousal. These triggers are childhood experiences and every thought, sight, sound, smell, taste and physical experience that a person encounters in life.
The human brain can be viewed as a computer. It stores every experience a human encounters. The eyes, the nose, the ears, the mouth and the senses are all input devices that transport data into the human brain. A person’s sexuality is influenced by the collection of the data within the brain. The brain becomes the greatest sex organ and physical contact is not necessary to rouse the sexual senses if an intense image, sound, taste or smell can access the data within the brain and thus trigger a sexual reaction. D&S is a sexuality that stimulates these triggers within a person’s psyche.
I have discussed a man’s core nature and how certain sexual desires and fantasies are the expression of a man’s core nature. I have also discussed how I believe the seeds of submission are implanted in men at birth and are cultivated through his interactions with female authority figures. This can also be described using the computer analogy. Think of a person’s core nature as being the pre-loaded software or operating system, whereas a person’s life experiences are the data that is created and accumulated over time.
Each person has a human will to make decisions in life but some decisions are made for us by nature. For example, we blink our eyes every couple of seconds, our bodies maintain a core temperature of 98.6, we have a built in air conditioner unit when we overheat known as sweat glands, our heart pumps continually, our lungs breath in and out, and etc.
The brain controls all of these bodily functions but we do not have to will them to happen, they are automatic within healthy human beings.
