“I heard that he’s a freak in the bedroom. A good kind of freak. The kind of freak that makes your body feel good for weeks.”
I put my hand up. “Okay. I’ve heard enough.”
Katie laughed as we pulled into the parking garage. We took the elevator up to the sixteenth floor and I let Peter know that we were back. When I walked into my office, I looked around and couldn’t wait until tomorrow morning for the feng shui people to come and redo my office.

Chapter 10
It was seven o’clock. G texted me and told me not to wait for her for dinner because she was working late. I rolled my eyes because her working late was code for “I’m with Donovan.” I walked to the fridge and searched for something for dinner. It was pretty bare, since neither of us had been grocery shopping. When I opened the freezer, I noticed there was a Lean Cuisine sitting there. I pulled it out, read the cooking directions, and popped it in the microwave. I picked up my phone from the counter when I heard the sound of a text message come through. It was from a number I didn’t recognize.
“Are you decent? Can you come downstairs? I have something to show you.”
It took me a minute to realize that it was Simon. Who the hell else would ask me if I was decent? I slipped on my Vans and took the elevator down to the lobby. As soon as the doors opened, Simon was standing right there in front of the elevator. He greeted me with that sexy smile.
“You didn’t reply.”
“I didn’t think I had to. You told me to come down, so here I am.”
“We’ll discuss that later, but for now, I want to show you your company car.”
He held the door open for me. Sitting at the curb was a white convertible Mercedes Benz.
“Simon. No way. No way. No way,” I said as I shook my head.
“This is your company car. Do you like it?” he asked with a wide grin.
“Umm...who wouldn’t like this?” I lightly ran my hand across the hood of the car.
“Get in the driver’s seat and take it for a ride, but be careful because it’s very powerful. When you ride on a powerful thing, you must use caution until you get the feel of it. Test it out. Go slow and then fast. Push it to the grind and take it all in. Enjoy the ride and let it excite you.”
I looked over at him as he sat in the passenger’s seat. “You are talking about the car, right? Because I think you meant to say when you ride in a powerful thing, not on.”
He snickered. “Of course.”
