- Don't miss out!
I rolled my eyes and the minute I sat down inside, I had found my heaven. The plethora of comfort was astounding as my body sank into the leather seat.
“Push this button right here.”
I pushed in the button Simon pointed to and flinched as the seat took hold of my back, enveloping me in a deep massage. “What the hell!” I looked at Simon.
“It’s a hot stone massage. It’s for when you’ve had a tough day and your back is hurting. Just push that button and let the car work its magic. Unless you’d rather I give your back a massage. I guarantee that could be arranged.”
I took in a deep breath. Another pair of panties on the verge of becoming soaked. “No thank you. I’d rather have the car do it.”
“Then start her up and take it for a spin.”
I looked over and motioned for him to get out with my hand.
“You don’t want me to go with you?” he asked in confusion.
“No. I would like a little privacy, please.”
“Suit yourself. Have fun.” He climbed out and shut the door. “I’ll be waiting right here.”
Once again, I rolled my eyes and took off. I threw my head back and smiled as the cool breeze swept across my face. The speed and calm vibration of the car were amazing. I drove around the area a couple of times and then pulled into a parking space outside my building. Simon stood on the sidewalk with a smile on his face. He walked over and opened the door for me. I will admit one thing. He was a gentleman in that way.
“Do you love it?”
“I do.” I smiled. “Thank you.”
His blue eyes stared into mine for a brief moment. “You’re welcome, Gabrielle. Do you mind if I come up and use your bathroom?”
“Is that your way of trying to get into my apartment?”
He chuckled. “No. I’m being serious. I really do have to go.”
“Sure. Come on up. It’s down the hall and to your left,” I said as we entered the apartment. “Oh shit, my dinner.” I walked over to the microwave and took out the cold Lean Cuisine.
Simon entered the kitchen and looked down at it. “That’s what you were having for dinner?”
“It’s all we have at the moment. I had just put in the microwave when I got your text message.”
“I’m sorry that I distracted you from eating whatever that is. I’ll make it up to you by buying you dinner now. We can either go out or order in.” He smiled.
I was hungry. I hadn’t eaten a thing since lunch and anything sounded better than that Lean Cuisine. Being alone with him in my apartment was too risky. I didn’t trust him not to try something.
