You should come to the celebration I'm having next week! Tyler will be there, and Sheila, who, in her spare time from being a successful businesswoman and lawyer just got the Lamont Younger Poets award. She's going to sing some of her poetry. And Tyler is going to show some of his crayon drawings of girl rock bands that were just bought by the MOMA.

And then Greta too. I guess you heard Greta's working on her second memoir. Did I tell you? Oh! Greta gotta Guggenheim! Greta gotta Guggie! Greta gotta Guggie! Yes! Fifteen thousand dollars! Which isn't so much but it's enough so that she can get a little studio so she can work on her photographs of stains. Amazing work.

And later in April here I'll be showing some of Carl's work. Just something he's doing on the side. Some of his Hate Poetry written on the back of Starbucks cozees. I supplied him with hundreds of them, because we get them at our annual Investor's Luau in Maui. If you miss it, you'll see it at the Whitney Biennial next fall.

You know, you should come by and leave flyers next time you have a show. We love to support the community here, and you can put your flyer, here, with all the other great things going on—teen spoken word and contact dance improv and a cappella groups. Feel free!

Now, my dear, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to mill about a bit. You have a great great night. Take care of yourself. Buh-bye.

Air My Breath, Water My Blood Earth My Flesh and Fire My Spirit . . .

All right now just the women sing, (Air My Breath, Water My Blood," and now the men (Earth My Flesh and Fire My Spirit . . ." Good! One more time—

Hello? Is that my friend? Well, hello. What a creative costume! Let me guess, you are supposed to be: a hedgehog? A dust gnome? A sort of scarred, mutated survivor of the Apocalypse? That's not a costume? Right, the mudflats. Yeah, it's pretty easy to lose your footing there.

Well you should dress up! It's half the fun of coming to Burning Man! Ten thousand people here for a week in the remote Nevada desert. A spontaneous community based on art and expression! We all are free to be whatever we want, following our innermost creative urges, who we really are in our souls.
