- ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I haven’t even met the latter yet, but I already know she’s done something so profound to me.

HENRY
JD: This might sound creepy.
RB: Have you murdered someone? Are you stalking me? Wait, are you one of those guys who buys people’s underwear off the internet?
JD: A. That’s disgusting.
JD: B. I’m offended.
RB: Glad we got those off the table. Let’s hear it.
JD: I’m excited to put a face to these messages. How dorky does that sound?
RB: What if I’m some ugly troll?
JD: Even if you were, which I doubt is true, I wouldn’t care. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you, and I just…
JD: I have this image of you built up in my head and I’m excited to see if I’m right.
JD: And even if I’m NOT right, I think you’re still going to be incredible.
RB: Try guessing. If you get something correct, I’ll let you know.
JD: I imagine you liking oversized sweatshirts and mismatched socks, but you don’t care, because they’re cozy and warm and make you happy even if the colors contradict each other.
JD: You’d be content sitting on the couch, reading a book, with a candle burning on the end table. You strike me as very low maintenance, so you probably pull your hair back.
JD: Maybe a messy bun or whatever it’s called?
RB: Are you in my house with me? This is all weirdly accurate.
JD: I knew it!
RB: What color do you think my hair is?
JD: I want to say brunette, but I’m leaning toward blonde.
RB: Now I’m freaked out.
JD: You’re probably a fan of bubble baths and spending time with a small group of friends. You’d prefer going to the library or museum over a club or trendy restaurant. Low key, but still social.
RB: All correct. The history museum is one of my favorite places in the world. When I was younger, I wanted to spend the night there. I tried to make it happen once. I hid in the bathroom, hoping no one would notice I was missing.
RB: My mom found me ten minutes later.
JD: So shutting the history museum down for you would earn me a lot of points?
RB: I can neither confirm nor deny that completely accurate question.
JD: Got it. I’ll tuck that tidbit of information away for a later date.
RB: And do what with it?!
JD: Have it on the back burner in case I need to woo you or make up for stealing all your Zebra Cakes or something.
JD: I gotta have plans, Sunflower.
RB: Now I’m wondering what kind of person you are to have the power to shut down a museum…
