She smiled again as another tear escaped. She nodded her head as she went back to her food, and I noticed just the faintest blush on her cheeks. Sometime Jane acted like she wasn’t used to the attention from us when we constantly told her we were here for her. We finished our food in silence, each of us making sure we kissed her for our amazing dinner. We took care of the dishes while she went to the living to rest since she had worked last night.

“How are we going to handle the anniversary?” Callum asked, not wasting a moment.

“I think we should just let her tell us what she needs,” Nathan replied. “I don’t want to force her to do anything.”

“I agree, we need her to tell us what she needs from us so we don’t interfere with her grieving process,” I said, rinsing dishes while Nathan put them in the dishwasher.

“You think she’s going to want to go back to Dallas?” Callum asked, looking like he hated the idea. If she left, he would probably want to go, but Lucio is fucking crazy and I wouldn’t doubt he would totally keep tabs on Callum.

“I don’t know,” I answered. “I’m assuming their graves are there, so probably.”

“Fuck. I wish I could go but I don’t…” Callum said.

“We know, and I’m sure she does, too. It’s too risky for you to leave. We don’t need a repeat to happen.” Nathan slapped Cal’s back and I saw him grit his teeth in pain.

“Looks like you aren’t doing that great,” I stated.

“I am… it’s just certain things still hurt a lot,” Cal glared at Nathan.

“Shit! Sorry, dude, I forgot.” Nathan didn’t look sorry.

“Liar,” Callum sneered.

Nathan laughed. “I’m serious man.”

We finished the dishes, and grabbed some snacks, because Jane always snacked after dinner. I loved that she wasn’t self-conscious about what she ate, but I noticed what a difference Cal’s workouts had done for her. Her ass was still thick and juicy, but her legs were getting toned. Jane was just a beautiful woman, all soft and thick. We walked into the living room to see Jane already passed out, covered in blankets. She lit the gas fireplace because the September nights were getting cool. Fall was in full effect and the leaves were changing color.

“She’s sleeping with me.” Nathan went to pick her up before I stopped him.

“I think tonight it might be best if we all slept with her,” I suggested.

“I think Aiden’s right. Having all of us with her might ease her pain.” Callum agreed with me.

Nathan just stared at Jane, nodding his head. “Whose bed?” Nate asked.

We all had a king bed, but my room was the biggest and my bathroom was the best.
