Fuck. Jane was bringing out too many emotions in us and I didn’t know if this was bad or good. I took one last glance at her, watching the fight as she sat at the edge of her seat chewing her bottom lip. Goddamn, she was gorgeous.

“Watch your right!” Aiden yelled.

I pulled my thoughts away from Jane, watching the fight with more interest. Bromley got two hits on Cal’s side. He grimaced in pain for just a second before he schooled his features into a scowl. Cal did a few combos before overwhelming Bromley enough that he could get two good hits in. Bromley backed off, shaking his head. And I knew Cal had scared him. He wasn’t expecting Cal to pack a punch, and started looking at Cal with more caution.

“Shit, he’s bleeding,” Aiden whispered.

Cal’s shirt was looking a little wet, and you could see a small drop of blood coming down his leg. Cal kept going with different combos before the bell rang, giving the fighters a three-minute break. We walked into the cage with a small stool they gave us. Cal sat down with a grimace.

“Let go of me, asshole,” Jane yelled at one of Lucio’s guards. “I need to check on him.” He pulled her back, causing her to stumble and fall. He bent down to pick her up.

“Let her go,” Cal snarled at the guard.

I glared at him, hoping we were all trying to intimidate him.

“Don’t make me knee you in the balls again, asshole,” as she pulled her arm out of his grasp and walked up to us. “I need butterflies, glue, and tape.”

I grabbed the things she needed from our kit, and she went to work while Aiden and I blocked anyone from seeing what Jane was doing.

“Lift your arm,” she went to work on Callum, patching him up as he stared at her with a confused longing. The bell rang, signaling our time was almost up. “Don’t overextend on this side.” She pulled down his shirt and made eye contact with him.

“Thank you,” he whispered. He quickly pulled her in for a scorching kiss. She jerked back with a pained expression before she schooled her features.

“Good luck,” she said before she walked out of the cage.

“We need to be careful with them.” Aiden watched Jane walk back to Lucio.

“With them?” I asked, getting drowned out by the bell. Callum rolled his shoulders as he got up, moving towards the middle as we left the cage.

“What do you mean by them?” I asked again.

“It looks like we might have gotten played,” he said, not taking his eyes off the fight.
