  52. ABOUT THE AUTHORS

To Ali, creator of magic, my love and admiration for you are infinite. Thank you for making me laugh when I wanted to cry, for being bold, remarkably observant, kind and true, and for always knowing exactly how to finish my sentences. To my husband, Dave, for being my cheerleader, sunshine, accounting whiz, sounding board and grounding force. Thank you for all the times you brought me coffee, and for generally sweeping me off my feet every day. To my parents, Susie and Allan, for instilling in me a love of reading so that I could discover a love of writing. To my dearest sisters, Sarah and Lici, for being the first loves of my life. To the men who joined the very female Kalus clan, and made it feel complete: Iwan, Ollie, Louis and Mobo. To my new Better family: Jenny, Nathan, Tam, Gid, Rafi, Mona and Ronit, for your genuine interest and warm acceptance. And finally to Berty, for keeping my feet warm while I wrote.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

About the authors

Fancy Meeting You Here is Ali Berg and Michelle Kalus’ third novel. Their previous works The Book Ninja and While You Were Reading are published in more than ten territories, and The Book Ninja has been optioned for film. When they’re not writing books, Ali is a copywriter and Michelle is a primary school teacher. Ali and Michelle have been best friends for life. As ten-year-olds, they could be found ditching play time for writing club. They are the co-founders of Australian social initiative Books on the Rail, where they leave books on public transport for people to find. They both live in Melbourne with their respective families and colour-coordinated bookshelves.
