- Don't miss out!
“Well, it was the first time I saw you. So I consider it the best flight of my life.” He smiled as he lightly touched my chin.
I turned away so he wouldn’t see me blush. My heart picked up a rapid pace and my palms were sweating again. His phone rang, and when he answered it, I glanced over at him. It was the first time that I’d seen him dressed in something other than a suit. The way he wore a pair of light beige khaki pants, a white Ralph Lauren polo, and a pair of dark brown martin loafers made him look incredibly and equally sexy. The empty ache between my legs was now a constant feel whenever I was near him. He conducted business on the phone the entire way to the airport. When we arrived, Simon ended his phone call and climbed out of the limo. As I slid out of my seat, he held out his hand.
“Let me help you.”
Those words. The first words he had ever spoken to me. The words that had been etched in my mind since they escaped his lips.
“Thank you.” I gave him a small smile.
“I have a feeling you’ll be thanking me a lot on this trip.” He winked.
I took in a sharp breath because he never let go of my hand, not until we stepped on the plane. I had never been in a private jet before and was enthralled by the soft grey interior. The finest leather seats, dark wooden tables, and two long, curved couches that sat on each side of the plane were incredible.
“Do you like it?”
“It’s beautiful. Sure beats a commercial plane.” I smiled.
He chuckled. “If you need to use the bathroom, it’s towards the back and to the left, next to the bedroom.”
“You have a bedroom?”
“Of course. I’d be more than happy to show it to you if you’d like.”
My stomach started to flutter. I didn’t want to see it because I had a feeling that if I walked in there, I wouldn’t be walking out any time soon.
“No. That’s okay. Maybe another time,” I shyly spoke as I took a seat on the leather couch.
“There will definitely be another time, Gabrielle.”
A flight attendant by the name of Lucy walked up to where Simon and I were sitting.
“Good morning, Mr. Young. Mimosas?” she asked with a flirty smile.
“Good morning, Lucy. This is Miss McCarthy, and yes, mimosas are fine.”
She nodded her head and smiled at me. I couldn’t help but notice how pretty she was. After delivering our drinks, Simon placed a breakfast order for both of us. I wasn’t sure if I could eat because I was a nervous wreck about this trip. Simon leaned back on the couch and crossed his legs as he looked at me.
