- Don't miss out!
“Yes. I wanted to thank you for getting it done so quickly.”
Nell walked in and handed me my coffee. “Thank you.” I smiled.
She nodded, and after setting Simon’s on his desk, she walked out, shutting the door behind her.
“No tea today?” I smirked.
“Very funny, Gabrielle. You look incredible today. I hope you plan on bringing a bikini to Vegas for when we go swimming.”
“We’re going swimming?”
“Yes. Just the two of us on the rooftop of my hotel.”
He spoke in such a seductive manner that I couldn’t help but bite down on my bottom lip when he said that.
“I’ll bring my bathing suit, but I don’t wear bikinis.”
“When you’re with me, you’ll wear a bikini. So, if you don’t have one, you can either go out and buy one before we leave, or we’ll pick one up for you in the hotel shop.”
“I don’t feel comfortable in a bikini.” Shit. Why did I just tell him that?
“I told you I wanted to see more of your body and I expect you to grant me that wish.”
What? Who the hell says that? Damn it. As uncomfortable as he made me feel, I was completely turned on. A wave of heat crashed throughout my body and I needed to cool off.
“We’ll talk about that another time. I really need to go,” I said as I got up from my seat.
“I’ll be in meetings all day and out of the building. Patrick will pick you up tomorrow morning at eight thirty.
“Wait a second. You said we weren’t leaving until Thursday night.”
“I changed my mind. I thought we could take the day and do things. We can do whatever you want to.”
“The last time I was in Vegas, it totally sucked,” I said. “And, to be honest, I’m really not looking forward to going back there.”
“You’re not with him anymore. This time, it’ll be different. I promise.”
I walked out of his office in a sweat. What was he doing to me? I couldn’t let this continue. It’s not right and it’s not fair. Fuck you, Simon Young.
As soon as G heard the door open, she came bouncing through the living room carrying a square white box with a pink ribbon tied around it.
“This was delivered for you today.” She smiled as she handed it to me. “Hurry, open it. I’ve been dying to see what’s inside.”
“Who’s it from?”
“I don’t know. Maybe there’s a card inside,” she said as she bounced up and down, clapping her hands together.
