- Don't miss out!
While Jared mingled with some of the guests he was acquainted with, I spent the next hour standing by the bar and watching very carefully for the guy from the plane to walk back in the room. He didn’t. I had had enough and I was more than ready to go back to the apartment. I found Jared and told him that I was leaving and that he could stay if he wanted to. He seemed to be having a good time and he said he was going to stay back for a while longer. I had to use the restroom, so I stopped at the lobby desk and asked where the closest one was. When I was finished and made my way back to the lobby to leave, my heart stopped when I saw him walking towards the lobby doors, and he wasn’t alone. On his arm was a beautiful blonde woman in a long, black, shimmery gown that clung to her body. Fuck, he’s married! Shaking my head and ready to explode, I waited until they left the hotel before I went home. When I knew it was safe, I walked out the doors and told the valet that I needed a cab. As I turned around to wait, there he was, staring at me as his wife was getting into a black limo. A few seconds had passed and a cab pulled up. Before I knew it, the door opened and I felt a hand on the small of my back. I turned around and he was within inches of me.
“I would like to know your name?” he asked in that sexy voice that I had longed to hear again.
At that point, I was reeling with anger. Anger that he was behaving the way he was with his wife sitting in the limo behind my cab. Who the fuck does this guy think he is? I looked straight into his smoldering blue eyes.
“It’s none of your business.” I climbed into the cab, grabbed the handle, and shut the door, pushing down on the lock from the inside. After what I said, I couldn’t bring myself to look at him as the driver pulled away.
