I didn’t even bother to acknowledge him as I grabbed Aiden’s hand, meeting a little resistance, but he eventually came with me. Opening the door to the house, kicking my shoes off, I headed to the kitchen. I opened the fridge, taking out the opened wine I had and chugged straight from the bottle.

Aiden followed me. “I’m sorry you had to see that.” I was so embarrassed.

“It’s ok, family is always full of drama.” He came behind me, wrapping an arm around my waist to bring me flush with his body. “He was trying to do the right thing.”

“He needs to mind his own fucking business. I’ve seen him cheat on girlfriends. God, the shit I used to hear in high school.” I took another swig. “I never judged him or got in his business. Ok, I lie, I judged him, but I never got in his business. Why didn’t he just ask me?”

“Well, he’s been drinking, so I’m sure that didn’t help,” Aiden said, kissing my neck. “He meant well, even if it was in a fucked-up way.”

I turned around, raising an eyebrow at him. “Whose side are you on?”

He smiled. “Always yours, but I was just trying to give you some perspective.”

I narrowed my eyes at him. “Just tell me I’m right and take me to bed. I have all this pent- up energy and I need a release.”

“You’re right baby, always right. After that shitshow, you definitely need to come.” He took the wine bottle from me, took a drink and kissed me, letting a little wine escape into my mouth. A few drops dripped down my chin and he licked them up. He picked me up, wrapping my legs around him, walking down the hallway to my bedroom. I knew it wasn’t far from the kitchen, but the anticipation was killing me. I’d been thinking of Aiden since we first met, and I hope to God it was as amazing as it was in my head.

He dropped me on the bed, standing there just looking at me. We didn’t need the lights on because the window brought enough of the moonlight in so we could see. He looked like every woman’s rugged sex fantasy. I clenched my thighs, feeling the need become unbearable. I brought my hand up to my neck, bringing it down to the valley of my breast, over my not-so-flat stomach and down to my panties. Aiden pushed my hand away, grabbing both sides of my panties and yanking them down my legs. He pushed my knees apart, looking at me, and I had to fight the urge to close my legs, feeling a little too exposed. He kneeled down in between my legs, kissing the insides of my thighs. I squirmed, feeling shocks flow throughout my body.

“Stop moving,” he growled.
