Sighing, she tried her best to straighten her hair and tame any loose strands. Thank goodness she had worn her cutest workout attire and her favorite waterproof mascara. That made her feel infinitely better about being in front of the camera. But she still wasn’t confident that this was going to go well.

Fake it until you make it, girlfriend.

Confusion twisted Adam’s features. “You’re going to do one right now?”

She nodded. “Yep. I would rather do it before I become more sweaty than I already am. Besides, I don’t want to be winded and unable to speak clearly.” Actually, she’d rather not do it at all. Therefore, it was now or never.

Adam moved out of the line of the camera.

Preslee shook her head and motioned him closer. “Nope. If I’m going to do this, then you’re going to be on video too. Get over here.”

He stepped back over and leaned on the treadmill’s side railing. “Why me? You’re the vlogger.”

“Yeah, but you’re the one the women want to see.”

Adam frowned. “What are you talking about?”

“Oh, please. Don’t tell me you didn’t see the comments about you.”

He shrugged. “It was just a few silly comments by some flirty women. Oh, and at least one dude,” he said with a grin. “I didn’t take it seriously.”

Well, she sure as heck did. How else was she going to keep people coming back to her vlog? “I don’t suppose you’d be willing to take your shirt off for them on camera?”

He glared at her.

“Okay, fine. Didn’t hurt to ask.” Jeez.

“What would that accomplish?”

“It might help keep people’s attention.” Lord knows it had worked on her.

He laughed. “Preslee, I have news for you. You don’t need me. I didn’t take my shirt off in the first video, and you did just fine.”

“Well, yeah. But I don’t plan on practically falling on my face this time around. So I need something to entertain the viewers.”

“You have it. They wanted to know more about you and your workout. Just be yourself. That’s all you have to do.”

There he went being nice again. But it was hard for her to believe that anyone would prefer a curvy woman talking about working out over a hot guy like Adam showing off chiseled abs.

Still, if she didn’t do this now, she was going to back out on the whole thing. She could already feel herself trying to come up with excuses as to why this was such a bad idea. And it probably was. But she propped her phone on the dashboard of the treadmill and pushed the button anyway.
