“Oh my God, really?”

“Yeah. I did some research and it sounds interesting. Plus, with you moving in, it’s your house now and you should have something that’s important to you.”

“I already have something that’s important to me and that’s all I need.” I reached up and kissed his lips.

“I think that box goes up in the bedroom, right?” His smile grew wide.

“I believe it does.” I grabbed his hand and we walked upstairs.

“I don’t understand why I have to wear this blindfold,” I said when we were in the back of the limo on our way to the hotel in Barbados.

“I told you it’s a surprise. I don’t want you to see it yet until we get there.” He brought my hand up to his lips and kissed it.

“I hate surprises.”

“I know you do, but you’ll love this one.”

The limo stopped and Simon told me to stay put until he opened the door. I felt his hand on mine as he helped me from the limo.

“Are you ready?”

“Yes.” I smiled, wondering what he had up his sleeve.

He took off the blindfold and we were standing in front of the hotel. I looked up. It was called Gabrielle Mon Amour. I gasped as I put my hand over my mouth and looked at him. As usual, tears sprang to my eyes.

“You named your hotel after me?”

“Yes. Welcome to Gabrielle Mon Amour. Meaning Gabrielle My Love. I find it quite fitting.”

I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tight, hiding my face in his neck as the tears fell. “I love it so much and I love you. Thank you,” I whispered.

“You’re welcome. Now let’s go up to our suite. I have another surprise for you.”

I wasn’t sure my heart could take any more surprises. This was the ultimate gift of love and I was overjoyed. When he opened the door to the suite, he took my hand and led me to the bedroom. Lying on the bed were two robes; one in black and one in pink. I ran and grabbed the pink one.

“You got the robes.”

“Every room has them. Black for men and pink for the ladies.”

“Oh, Simon. I’m speechless.” I walked over and gave him a long and passionate kiss.

“There’s another thing. When we get back from our vacation, Katie will be waiting for you outside your office. She’s thrilled to be working for you again.”

“What?”

“I need you to come back to Young International. That’s where you belong, Gabrielle. Not in a coffee shop. Okay?”

I ran my fingers through his hair as I stared into his eyes. “Okay.” I kissed his lips.

We didn’t leave the hotel suite the rest of the night.
