- About the Author
The song starts up and my nerves melt away immediately. This shit is fun. Kai actually sounds pretty decent and then there’s me. I’ve got a voice made for a mute button and I know it, but I couldn’t care less. Kai and I are milking this performance for all it’s worth, getting in each other’s faces singing about a boy we each claim as our own. The audience is torn behind plugging their ears at the sound of my voice and enjoying the fact that Kai is giving this performance his all with me. Enjoying the show wins out, and when it’s over, we receive a standing ovation, but when I offer to do an encore an emphatic “no” sounds from the crowd. Kai kisses me long and hard before we step off the stage, earning another round of applause.
“I didn’t think you were actually gonna get up there with me,” he confesses when we make our way back to the bar.
“Wrong, bitch. The fearless Olivia is back.”
“Nah, fearless Olivia would’ve let me fuck her in that parking lot.”
“I said fearless, not stupid. Your dick is good, baby, but I’m not trying to go to jail over it.” I would probably go to jail behind his dick but I’m not going to tell his ass that.
“You saying my dick isn’t jailworthy? What about my tongue?” The question is emphasized by the trail of his tongue on the spot behind my ear. “What about my hand?” he asks while his hand disappears under my skirt.
“Shit,” I hiss.
“What’s wrong, love? You need me to stop?”
I should say yes, because even though we’re at the back of the bar and no one is paying attention to us because they’re enthralled by the group of men singing a Backstreet Boys song, anyone could see us. But God, I want to say no because he feels so good.
“Answer me, Olivia. You want me to stop?” His voice is harsh in my ear, filled with primal need.
“I…I…fuck. No,” I whimper.
“No, what?”
“No, I don’t want you to stop.” As soon as the word stop leaves my mouth, that’s exactly what he does. He stops. His hands and lips leave my body in a rush, and I’m immediately cold in his absence.
He leans in close but doesn’t touch me again. “Go to the bathroom, take off your panties, and wait for me.”
I wobble as I step down from my stool, but he steadies me and sends me on my way.
