It’s the same with replacing body parts. There might be interesting medical aspects to it, but as physical optimization it’s downright tedious. “Hey cool, I have a mechanical hand that’s more precise than a human hand.” Many people now have their legs amputated because smart legs are just smarter. To each his own. Everyone he knows here—well, what does “knows” mean—obsesses over their particular field of expertise. Some coding language, quantum cryptography, smart business, cyber defense. Nobody is about the big picture, they’re all interested in details and in the optimization of details. Nobody has a broad view of what is happening despite the panicky consumption of technical info, the networking of IT people across the entire globe, the chats, the info mails, it’s too fast. The programmer loves AI, for example, though he’s unfortunately not equipped to really interact with AI people on the level. But respect, artificial intelligence is so far superior to human intelligence that it would be easier for the programmer to fall in love with a deep learning computer than with a human. And—the hysterical sanctimoniousness of the clueless. They’ll kill us, wah wah wah, they’ll control the world, they have no feelings. Of course they’ll control the world, who else should? People in their ridiculous stupidity, whose feelings, in which they pride themselves so much, are nothing more than a sequence of computational processes? The human source of errors is no longer acceptable. So, back to their realm, there where they know their way around, there where they feel at home. Today, if you read the chip that every citizen, well nearly every citizen, wears, you know in seconds everything about the subject, from their shoe size to their sexual orientation. Great, great. But boring. It’s really more exciting to have the same information on a screen with just the use of biometric cameras. The programmer switches over to the screen of the security forces. A lifeless crossing in Tower Hamlets. Four individuals, one on a moped, a woman with a stroller, two young men. Retrievable next to their faces: personal information. Previous convictions, occupation, income. All unemployed. Of course. The system is so easy, so brilliant. This comprehensive information, drawn from insurance and medical records, bank data, employee files, and all the details that these idiots have voluntarily provided with every click, every Like, every post, every emoticon, every web page they’ve loaded. They are truly all of the same moderately interesting material, people, who aren’t as unique as they always think. All conspicuous in their behavior. They know everything better. They read it somewhere. Fuckers. Each one an IT expert and astrophysicist, it’s all on the internet. You unbelievable idiots. A chimpanzee is more clever and less aggressive than a human being. Particularly here in the future industry, there are very few who don’t despise them. Other people.
