You can’t kill him, Sana! Not my beautiful IG-RM droid! He saved us all!

SANA STARROS:

Move aside, I said.

APHRA:

Come off it, Sana. This isn’t about the droid. What happened between us was a long time ago. You should learn to get over your crushes!

SANA STARROS:

And you should grow some guts and learn to stab people in the front for a change!

Last warning. Stand aside, Aphra.

PRINCESS LEIA:

Everybody stop yelling but me! I’m trying to figure out who’s behind this—

HAN SOLO (on comm):

Sounds like we got here just in time.

PRINCESS LEIA:

What? Han? Is that you? Are you…where are you?

HAN SOLO (on comm):

Headed for the Sunspot Prison docking bay. Luke and I got your message. So relax, will ya, Your Highness? We’re here to save the day.

APHRA (narration):

Oh, great. Han Solo—here to swoop in, do absolutely nothing, and take all the credit!

SCENE 46

INT. DOCKING BAY. SUNSPOT PRISON. MOMENTS LATER.

APHRA (narration):

Sure enough, as soon as we got to the docking bay where big, bad Han Solo was supposedly waiting to save us all from danger, we discovered that the intruder, the man behind this murderous prison break, had captured both Han and the Skywalker kid, knocking them out cold.

This so-called madman who’d taken over the prison so handily was outfitted in a full-body spacesuit and helmet that covered his entire face. And his voice was muffled and flat, giving nothing away.

I suppose he thought the blaster pointed at us said plenty.

ENEB RAY:

I’m sorry, Princess.

APHRA:

This is…wow…how you people aren’t all dead already is seriously the greatest mystery in the galaxy.

PRINCESS LEIA:

Let Han and Luke go. Now.

ENEB RAY:

I’m sorry, Princess. But that isn’t how this ends.

This is your last chance to accept what I’ve been trying to show you, Princess Leia. I want you to win this war, I really do. I want to see the Empire fall. I want to give you the tools you need for victory.

Whether your friends here become casualties in that war is entirely up to you.

PRINCESS LEIA:

Don’t do it.

Don’t hurt them. Look, I’ll put my blaster down, and then we can talk about—

ENEB RAY:

I don’t want you to put it down. I want you to use it.

I want you to show me you have what it takes to lead the Rebellion.

You have an Imperial prisoner in your midst. Shoot her! And I’ll let your friends go free.

APHRA:

Wait. What?

PRINCESS LEIA:

That’s not what’s going to happen—

SANA STARROS:

Yes, it is.

APHRA:

Sana! Are you really pointing a blaster at my head? After everything we’ve been through together…

SANA STARROS:

As I said before, Aphra: Our old times were never that great.

APHRA:
