Things have quietened down here. Jade’s started York now, so the rest of us are getting used to it being the rest of us. Can’t wait for you all to come home for Xmas. I started my job this week, and it’s going good. It’s just office admin stuff, but it’s fun to wear grown-up office clothes, and my manager is 30, called Ian, and I have a bit of a crush on him. I think he has a crush on me too. It’s nice to have a real man in my life. Like, Ian has his own flat he rents, and he brings a packed lunch into work. Can you imagine? My plan is still to save enough to move to London. I’m doing OK. Just miss you! Honestly, Fern, I really do. I miss texting each other the moment one of us wakes up to meet up. I miss getting high with you and having deep chats. I miss dancing like lunatics. I miss going to the kebab shop with munchies and ordering cabbage with our chips and burger sauce to “make it healthy.” And I miss just you and me driving around in the middle of the night and feeling like we’re the only two people left on earth.
Sorry, I’m being a bit sentimental, aren’t I? I think it’s just taking a while to adjust to being left here. But I’m so happy you’re having a good time.

Jessica!!!!!! I’m SO SORRY it’s taken me SO LONG to reply. I MISS YOU TOO! SOOOOOOOOOOOO much. It’s mad. I miss those things all so much too. It’s weird, that life you described feels so far away right now. Happy your job is going well. Please don’t get together with a man just because he has a packed lunch though. Surely we must strive for more than that?
