It’s not clear, actually, whether the concept of a humanistic worldview, the social state, and rising standard of living contributed to the dumbing down of the global populace. It used to be the case that only the strongest and most intelligent people reproduced. Natural selection, isn’t it. One of the fatal achievements of the rising standard of living and the opportunity to survive without working at it was that idiots reproduced. And in no small measure. What else were they to do? The minister hates being on the toilet. Like a wild animal he dislikes the helplessness of this intimate moment. He despises himself for his need to defecate, which doesn’t seem commensurate with his importance.

Deep breath.

THE RULING CLASS

It will all be the way it used to be. Young people will travel through Europe with guitars in their luggage. Kindhearted cooks will prepare food. Mothers will have beehives on their roofs. It will be peaceful, calm, relatively trouble-free, their life. To an increasing extent in the next genetically intensified generation, who will resemble each other to such a degree, hate for everything different will largely disappear from the world. A group of narrowly intelligent men who are behind the algorithm of the companies whose gross earnings exceed those of the entire global economy, believe in their mission to swap out the entire human population for another human population. Numerically greatly reduced, the wetware sleekly optimized. They own almost 99 percent of all data. They know with mathematical precision which election campaign promise will definitely lead to victory in which country. They know which star prime minister will capture people’s hearts. They can completely change the rest now without any trouble. Just a little period of transition under the new technocratic dictator, and the populace will be newly cultivated. In exactly the number of humans still required to keep the earth functioning properly. To wave and shop, to perform a few supply services and to spread a cheerful lust for life as artists and waiters. The ruling class is certain that it’s to everyone’s advantage, what they’ve planned, evaluated, tested in avatar world. They are certain it’s a positive revolution and so on. That’s what men like them always think. That they’re doing something good. And perhaps they’re right. But

It is

So boring for

DON

She’s spent the last few nights in a capsule hotel, and now she stands in front of the door and drinks tea and watches people, to whom she feels no connection. The life of the so-called people, that is, those who wander around a neighborhood with no other purpose but to enliven the neighborhood, was more suitable to her. Suitable was the magic word. A good phase.
