“Okay, I was impressed! Christ, I didn’t know you could turn into a dragon.” The bird cackled and flew away from him, shifting back into a man.
“Can you turn into a dinosaur?” Lorcan asked, his arms tightening around me as if he had no intention of letting me go.
“Isn’t a dragon a dinosaur?” I asked.
“No,” Lorcan said with a snort.
“Who would ever want to be something as dumb as a dinosaur,” Puca scoffed, lifting his chin.
“That means no,” Lorcan commented. “What about a bug? That would be really useful. A fly on the wall.”
“I would never belittle myself that way,” Puca said with a sneer, straightening his shoulders more.
“You can’t,” Lorcan teased.
“You little shit,” Puca snapped, turning into a bird and flying at him. Lorcan pulled away from me so he could run towards the roof elevator. Puca chased him, zooming in and pecking at his neck. When Lorcan nearly made it to the door Puca turned back into the man and shoved him into the wall. He ripped a scowling Lorcan around.
“You are such a—” Lorcan started but Puca smashed their mouths together. His body pressed into Lorcan, grinding against him as his tongue slipped into Lorcan’s mouth. Lorcan groaned, kissing him back and gripping Puca’s hips.
I looked up at Dullahan who was watching them while finishing his cigarette. I wondered if he only smoked when exceptionally stressed because I’d only seen him do it twice. The other time was after we first met. It was entertaining to think I’d stressed him out that much.
“Looks like everything turned out good for me in the end,” I said to him. “My luck never fails.” He looked down at me with a raised eyebrow. A little smile curled up one side of his face. “And thank you…for getting my luck back,” I said.
Suddenly his huge hand was in my hair, pulling me towards him. His mouth crashed on mine, making my mind go numb as I gripped his shirt.
“You’re welcome,” he rasped against my lips. “You’re on a short list of people I’d do anything for,” he whispered. “Those two idiots over there and you make that list.” I swallowed and licked my lips.
“Are you saying…”
“Yes, Lacey. I’m saying I love you,” he chuckled before kissing me again. I melted against him, moaning into his mouth.
Perhaps loving these three wouldn’t be such a terrible thing. Which was good, because I didn’t think I could let them go. They were mine now. Part of my treasure, my horde, and no one took what was mine because I was Lacey Flanagan—the very beast leprechaun in the world. A god, actually. Perhaps the real-life Lady Luck.
EPILOGUE

It had been a month since Neo Atlantis had suffered a typhoon, a demon induced city-wide sexual heat, and a near-miss with a missile. Despite that, it was thriving. What was a little kick in the side of our thriving metropolis? Nothing at all really. Not for us at least. We were a city filled with sinful humans and supernaturals alike. We were greedy and mean, had deep pockets, and preferred to walk on the wild side anyway.
