PIC 2: But let’s be super honest: we also love it when this town falls apart. Speaking of falling apart… Could it be real? Could it be true? Are our beloved mommune members parting ways just days after their epic night out at Belle Epoque? A little birdie told us that one Julie Dartmouth is leaving to take care of her mommy. Where is Grace without Julie? And can stand-by-her-man Charlotte continue to stand in Juniper Shores without the mommune?

PIC 3: There’s one person this might be good news for: Elliott, our man, with Alice’s time freeing up, make your move! Pin her down… at your own risk. (Sure, we’re #teamalice these days, but, come on… three dead husbands? Not a coincidence.)

PIC 4: Sophie Parker and Merit McDonald were all smiles at the Car Wash for a Cure last week. We’re happy to report (okay, happyish) that the trouble in paradise seems to have passed.

PIC 5: Well, we’ve always suspected that Iris Sitterly’s BFF Ben Aldridge was somewhere on the continuum between crushing on and totally in love with the New York City import. But maybe we were wrong about all that. He’s been spotted on more than one occasion with fellow freshman Lily Woods. Could a fall homecoming invite be far behind?

PIC 6: We’re expecting a little extra partying this Saturday night after our seniors roll in to take their SAT one final time before sending out their college applications. We sure will miss this rowdy and beautiful bunch when they flee for the Ivys. As the great philosophers say: we hate to see them go, but we love to watch them leave.

JUNIPER SHORES SOCIALITE

Alice Vengeance

We all left that morning without speaking. That was a first, and I didn’t like it, but I couldn’t face everyone. I knew from experience that wasn’t a good strategy. What if it was the last time I ever saw them? But I was embarrassed about my behavior. Why, why, why did I let my sister get to me like that? And, furthermore, why had I come so unglued at the idea of Julie leaving? If I had just told them the truth about Elliott right away, this all would have been better. We were house hunting, for heaven’s sake. We had already looked at a cedar shake house three doors down from my current one, right on the beach, that was much smaller but perfectly appointed. I was obsessed. But Elliott had fallen in love with a sound-front white clapboard historic home with a slip for his beloved boat. We would probably choose one of them because they were both so great. Either way, Julie moving out was a solution to a problem for me.
