Bob, Debbie, Lou and Susana – I always get asked how I manage to do what I do. The truth is there’s no way I could do it without you all helping me in the individual ways that you do. Above all, I’m so grateful for your friendship and support.

Buzz, Buddy and Max, it turns out it’s not that easy to write when you guys are in the house. I cannot switch off from all the things I need to be and do as your mummy. In many ways this is a good thing. You will always be my number one, top top top, main priority. Sometimes, though, I just need a little quiet to help my brain work, or simply so my brain can have a moment to do and think of nothing at all.

Tom, I love you and the family we have created. Let’s never drift. Let’s keep returning to each other time and time again.

And to you, the reader. Thank you for joining me, Vicky, Zaza and Mike on this adventure. I hope it makes you think about pushing yourself out of your comfort zone or, at the very least, reminds you that you’re so worthy of love. Just the way you are.
